Sue, your Denton web site is great. It has so many interesting things on it. My line of Dentons is from George Denton and Hester Layman (Lamon). From George I trace back to his father, Thomas, then Thomas' father, Robert Denton and Jane Moon. I have not been able to prove my line back farther than Robert, but think it is possible that we go back to the Rev. Richard Denton. There may be a way to prove that one way or another, now. Layman researchers are now using DNA to proven common Layman blood lines. If I could find two males of the surname of Denton, one of my Denton line and one of the Rev. Richard Denton line, we may be able to find a common DNA. What do you think?

Betty Palmisano
