Living with Samuel in the 1900 DeKalb Co, AL census was an Alice Pope (32) wd, Warner Pope (17) Boston Pope (10). I believe Alice is Fannie's sister, but have been unable to find her husband's name. The 1910 Winston Co, AL census on Samuel shows Alice (42) Boston (19) nephew, Nebraska (8) nephew, Lana (3) niece. Samuel's 1920 Winston Co. shows no Fannie, no Alice, new wife Sarah, Lennie Pope (12) Daug, Holt, Bill (10) son. Does anyone have any info on this family? Did Samuel adopt Lana after her mother's death? Please contact me if you have anything that will help sort this out. I would appreciate any and all help or leads.
