I am searching for information on JAMES G. DENTON and JAMES M. DENTON. According to the history book of Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. It shows that JAMES G. DENTON was born December 17, 1872 in Lincoln County, Illinois. He is the son of JAMES M. DENTON a steamboat captain on the Mississippi River. JAMES M. DENTON had brothers by the names of JESSE, GEORGE W. AND ISAAC. All lived near Murfreesboro Tennesse. JAMES M. DENTON Married ELIZABETH CAMBRON of AL.they had the following children.#1 W.I DENTON, Died in Choctaw nation W.I DENTON. had one son STERLING DENTON who was assassinated and robbed near NEWPORT, ARK.. #2 HANNAH H. DENTON Married GEORGE W. HILL of Mo. By a former wife (name unknown) JAMES M. DENTON had the following children. JAMES G. DENTON; FRANK L. DENTON AND JEANNETTE DENTON.
