Jacob SHIPMAN JR and his Wife Nancy DENTON both died in Carroll Co TN as evidenced by the Church Rolls posted on the Mudcreek Baptist Church on the Carroll Co TN GenWeb Site. Nancy (Denton) SHIPMAN died 18 Mar 1849 in Carroll Co Tn and Jacob SHIPMAN JR died 29 May 1850 in Carroll Co TN. There are land deeds where Jacob SHIPMAN JR is selling his land in Perry Co TN on 8 Aug 1845 and 24 Feb 1846. Jacob`s grandson Daniel D S SHIPMAN surveyed and pay the tax on some land for Jacob in 1849 in Carroll Co TN. John R SHIPMAN, Levi SHIPMAN, Daniel D S SHIPMAN and their wifes were also members of the Mudcreek Baptist Church in Carroll Co TN and can be found named on the Church List. Also on the 1840 Perry Co TN Census there is a dau of Jacob & Nancy SHIPMAN who appears to be Alcie SHIPMAN who married KND BREWER in 1847 in Carroll Co TN.
