Dear April, I believe that we are looking at the same family. My gg grandfather, Robert Thompson Dent immigrated from England to Canada where he married (1) Susanna--had three children; then married Mary Covey and had quite a few more, part of them near Clarenceville, Queb and part in Clinton Co., NY. Some stayed in the area and others migrated to Wisconsin--my relations-- I am working on this line trying to extend it back beyond Robert to England. Also a Burr connection there somewhere. Possibly through his second wife, Mary Covey. He was buried in Canada while his wife, Mary was reportedly buried in Manawa, WI. I'd love to compare your information to mine.
