I am a descendent of Josiah Dent through his son Harris, b. 8 May 1827, St. John , MO. I have Josiah Dent's birth date as 9 Nov 1800 in Madison Co, KY. Married 12 June 1826 Franklin Co., MO to Mary (Polly) Jamison, daughter of Ephraim Jamison and Clarissa Hinton. Josiah is the son of Samuel Dent and Patsy Harris. I have lots of information on Dent, Harris, Jamison, Hinton, etc. that was sent to me years ago by a lady in MO. If you would send me your addresses I will share all I have.
