DENT, Joseph bd. 1820-- married Sarah HEWITT bd. 1824. They had 8 children, lived in Newark New Jersey. I only know of 1 child, Mary Eliza DENT that married my GGrandfather William FORDEN bd. 1840 who was from Sheriff-Hutton England. Both Josph DENTdd. 1889 & Wm. FORDEN dd.1885 are intered in Fairmount Cemetery, Newark New Jersey. Sarah HEWITT had a brother William HEWITT. Looking for information regarding other DENT children--other members of the HEWITT & FORDEN family that all lived in New Jersey during the late 1800s. Will trade information---
