I was interested in your Dent information. I'm looking for ancestors of mine in Yorkshire, connected with the Metcalfe family through a Thomas Metcalfe who married Alice Dent in Hawes, North Yorkshire, in 1882. Alice Dent had parents Abraham Dent (listed as a farmet in the 1881 census who married a Mary.

I am descended from these Metcalfes, but would be very keen to explore the Dent connections. If you could give me any more information i would be very grateful.
