About the Sir name of Preston, I have some, but the conection to the Dent line would be;
William Allen Preston 1852-1926 m. Clarinda Dent 1848-1895.
I have not seen any major Preston factor in the use of the middle name, and not at all Preston Dents but one of Sout Carolnia in 1828, son of Isaac Dent 1797-1860.
I have only one Calvit, Mary Elizabeth Calvit 1771-1809 m,
in Mississippi 1794 Samuel Levi Wills 1764-1816.
The only Wood that cane into the Dents I have was Winston Byrd Wood 1835-1873 of Alabama and Gorgia m, Maiah Louise Dent 1836-1902 of Georgia.
I have no Roak or Prater but several Stewarts. I will look more and reply within the next day or so.
