Diane,

Thank you for taking the time to transcribe the will of Joseph Brown, probated 1795 in Bedford County. I have this will from published wills from Bedford and also from microfilm.

My problem is trying to find the location where Elizabeth Dent and her family were in contact with Joseph and his. The Dents were from Charles County, Maryland and this county protrudes into the Fauquier-Culpeper Counties area of Virginia.
There are Browns in these counties at the time that Peter Dent left Maryland and moved into Virginia. Jesse and Hezekiah Brown are found in Culpeper and Essex Counties.

Where Joseph and Elizabeth met is the mystery that I am hoping to solve.
