It has just come to light through a DNA test that an ancestor of the Dent family is an ancestor of our lawson family here in Maryland. Has your research found anything to show the relationship? It would be greatly appreciated since our lawson genealogy has run into a dead end on information on our James Lawson, Born 1775, in Frederick county, Maryland.
