I am looking for any possible descendants of Edwin Dent & Lily Waddington Dent. They were married in Bradford in the June Quarter of 1893. There was one son that I know of - William Robinson Dent, born September Quarter 1893, died February 19, 1915, Private in "D" Company, 4th Battalion, King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. I am hoping there were other children born to Edwin & Lily. I do not know what happened to Edwin Dent, but Lily died in the Union Workhouse in Bradford in 1910, was buried May 18, 1910 in Undercliffe Cemetary. She is buried beside her father, William Waddington and her sister, Annie Elizabeth Waddington Hartley, my Great Grandmother. Edwin's parents were Robinson & Jane Dent.
I am in possession of a family photo that came from my Grandparent's home. I believe I have identified correctly the people in the picture as Sarah Dey Waddington (William's wife) and her 3 daughters, Annie Elizabeth, Lily and Emma. Also in the picture are Albert Potterton Hartley (my GGF) and Edwin Dent and a very young William Robinson Dent. I believe the picture was taken about 1897 or 1898. Unfortunately I am not sure where the picture was taken.
If anyone out there is descende from Edwin & Lily Dent and would like to see this early picture, I would gladly share it and any family history that I have accumulated.
