Need info on parents of A J DENT and Ada WARRICK
We have seen/heard family accounts of the name variations for A.J. DENT as Alfred James DENT, James
Alfred DENT and A. J. DENT along with variations of WARRICK spelling. Possibly the most
accurate name info is the listing on SSN information of their son Walter W. DENT. A copy of the
original SSN application listed Walter W. Dent's parents as John DENT and Ada WARRIC. Picture posted at

It is thought that all the children except Alma were born in Coffee County, Al.
The family was split up after the death of A. J. DENT. The three oldest girls were placed in the
Baptist Children's Home at Evergreen, Conecuh County, Al. on February 20, 1908 which was
sometime after the death of A. J. DENT. The only known son, Walter W. DENT was placed with
the family of William M. FRAZIER and Sarah Elizabeth ROBINSON Frazier of Conecuh County,
Al. Ada WARRICK Dent married again on December 23, 1909 to L. L. FRAZIER in Conecuh
County, Al.
