I am seeking information on my paternal grandmother, Settie B Herrod (Herod) b. 1887 in Madison Co, TN and married Sidney Denny around 1902 in Belton, Texas. Sidney was born in Bell Co.,TX and both died in McLennan Co., TX. There is a Herrod/Herod family in nearby Limestone Co., TX which abuts McLennan Co. I believe Settie may have been connected to the Limestone Co. family but can find no evidence. First names used for children of Sidney and Settie are Ray, Ira, Ernest, Alma, Hattie and Lois many of which I believe were used in the Herod family. Does anyone know about Settie?
