Myer C. Dennison - Louisiana - b. 1856 Denmark

Hi, everyone. I'm looking for more info about my mother's side of the family. Made a big break-through today. Finally found my GGgrandfather Myer C. Dennison in the 1910 census - the Danish link I have been looking for. Have been looking off and on for a couple of years but thought his given name was George. Here is what I know - born in Denmark abt. 1856. Immigrated to US in 1878 (probably Alabama). Per my mother, he had a brother - they knew a captain of a cattle ship and he allowed them to stow away on the ship. Wife's name was Isabelle and she is from Alabama - don't know her maiden name. Isabelle was born in 1861. Children were Alma (my grandmother), Lena, Oscar, Albert and Christian.

Any help would be appreciated.
