James Hartle Dennis (b. Jan. 28, 1902) went to Lewiston Maine in 1920 at the age of 18yrs. He was married at some point, and had fathered two sons.
In 1930 he is noted on the Cambridge, Mass., Census - as "divorced", employed as a truck driver and was residing as a border with a Dora Lohranas (widowed).
In 1931, he resided at 253 Sixth Street, Cambridge Mass.
In 1943 he remarried in Mass. and worked as an auto mechanic in Sommerville, Mass. In late 1940s he and the family moved to Nova Scotia, Canada.
Any information on the previous marriage and or children would be greatly appreciated.
James also had a brother, Reginald Dennis, who also went to the USA. The last record we have is from around 1955 when he resided in California.
