Well, I stumbled onto this forum and have always wondered about my family history. My grandfather was Joseph Bernard Dennis and never seemed to talk much about his family. All I know is that he was unhappily engaged and left his family upon meeting my grandmother because his family was extremely upset about breaking off the engagment and wanting to be with my grandmother. I know he had brothers, but neither grandparent would tell me the names in my family. My grandfather passed away a few years ago, and I have always wondered who my relatives were. I am unsure of the year my grandfather was born, but his birthday was July 4th. He and my grandmother had five children, 4 girls and my father Joseph George Dennis Sr. Any help would be appreciated.
