Valentine Dennis 1798 Washington Co., MD
In 1798, a Valentine Dennis sold 120 acres, called Hard Fortune, being part of a tract of land called Resurvey on Parks Hall. On the same date, he buys back 14 acres for he and his wife to live on until their death. (Have read one listing, no source cited, that says wife was named Barberry.) This 14 acres is called Dennis Reserve, being part of Hard Fortune, being part of Parks Hall. I think this land was in an area south of Boonsboro and around Keedyville in Washington Co., MD
Does anyone connect to this Valentine? In particular, I'd like to know if he had a daughter/sister named Margaret.
Thanks.
