I have found 4 different Denning lines interweaving in one of my ancestor’s trees and I am at a dead end on two of them.
Two of the lines are descended from Phillip Denning (b: 1639 in Kilmersdon) and his wife Elizabeth.Because of the location and the fact that they marry into the same lines I think the other two are also related.
Have you come across any information on a Richard Denning born about 1700?He would have been buried 6 Mar 1750 in Kilmersdon, Holcombe, Somerset. His wife was named Sarah and they had at least three children: Sarah (b: 1725), Rachael (b: 1731), and Benjamin (b:1737).I am looking for further information on him and his wife, as well as his parents.
Also, Joseph Denning born 1760 in Leigh Upon Mendip, Somerset married Elizabeth Ashman in Kilmersdon 18 Jul 1784.They were the parents of:
Hester (b: 1787), Ann (b:1789), John (b:1791), Henry (b:1792), and Joseph (b:1794)
I was given information that Joseph (b:1760) was the son of Joseph Denning born about 1730 but I have not been able to find any documentation that fits.
Any information that you have could be helpful.
Thank you for your time.
Crystal
