I got this in Richard Frederick Denney's web site.Just put his name in google.com and click on his site.Click gedcoms, then click the name of Charles Denney, click surnames, click on Hammons, click on Nellie, and this will come up.
I think I have a few more names in my folder.I'll have to check to see.If so, I'll e-mail it to you or put it in a follow-up post in case others might want the info.
Which one is your line?I have two....George Fyan Denney "Doc" was my gr grandfather who was also married to a Hammons...Martha "Mat".Martha's grandfather was Isaiah Hammons who was also married to a Denney, China Denney d/o John Denney. No one has record of John's parents, so that line of Denneys is dangling. China Denney Hammons was buried in Finley on Benjamin Denney & Mary Ann "Polly" Mounce Denney's old, farm cemetery. One of their sons, Judge John Denney, owned the farm when Chiney was buried there. The judge was Doc Denney's uncle.Doc was s/o Charles Denney and Maryann Cole.Richard has her as Maryann Dunkard....you'd think her family would have known if she was married before marrying Charles, but my grandmother was her granddaughter, and she never heard of Dunkard.Charles was a school teacher. One of his students was William M. Hammons....Martha Hammons' father. All this trivia.
Hope you find the site okay...unless you already knew about it.
Bye,
Karen
