Hi,
My name is Pat Herman and researching James Denner and Phylura (Taplin, my line) Denner.
James b- 1825 d.-1976 (lumberman)buried in Rarick Cemetery Hammond NY and Phylura b- 1827 d.-? married Phylura about 1849 in Hammond NY.
buried in ? Although, plot by her husband James.
Their children:
Christina b-7-Nov-1850 d.- 12-Nov-1948 she married Feb. 1871 in Hammond NY to Alexander A Gregor (or MacGregor) b.-1-Oct.-1847 d.-1927 both buried Fairview (Old Hammond)Cemetery, Hammond NY.
Christina and Alexander's children:
Elizabeth (Bessie) MacGregor b.-1873 d.-1969 she married Anthony W Eustis b. 1871 d.-1945. Both buried Fairview (Old Hammond) Cemetery next to her parents.
One son that I found Harry MCGregor Eustis b.-1901 d.-1963 married Helen Laidlaw b.-1907 d. 1983 both buried Redwood Cemetery I believe California. Two children.
Side Note: In the 1900 Census for Hammond NY Bessie was living with her parents and then in the 1920 Census for Bronx NY she was living with her husband, son Harry and niece and nephew Mary and Elmer.
James Roy Gregor (MacGregor) b.-1876 d.-1911 never married.
James H Denner b.-1848 d.-? Married 17-Dec-1890 to Eliza Evans.
As of yet found no children of James and Eliza. He was a sailor.
Arthur F Denner b.-9-Mar-1866 d.-1936 (Salesman) married to Margaret Wilson(Music teacher) b.-1865 d.-1939. One daughter Leela K b.-1885 d.-1959 don't know if she ever married, nor do I find any other children as of yet. They are buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery Hammond NY.
Phylura married 2nd about 1877 to Chester Catlin b.-1805 d.-1894. Chester's first wife Elvira Rising b.-1810 d.-bwt 1861-1870. Chester and Elvira are buried Rarick Cemetery Hammond NY.
