Please do not confuse the Irish Denneny family with the french Denny family, the french family had its name shortened from another longer name in Mille Roches because they lived closer to a English population. A lot of french families had names changed example libirion to Biron, Beron, Burow, Bero. Deschamp - Dishaw, Blais- Blair. Dennis- Denny. Deneault to Denny etc... Ester was a widow in 1871 and is listed as french. Most Denneny family are descended from Edward and Basille Denneny, Innkeeper and his wife. Edward was Irish, his wife french. Yes they intermarried into the Antoine family as well as Martin and other families.
