any connection to mine?

To all
Quick request for people scanning quickly - If anyone has these names in
their family tree please contact me
Abby CAHILL
Michael ROCHE
Thomas DENNEHY m Ellen JONES (my G GP's)
Jeremiah DENNIHY m Elizabeth CAHILL (my GG GP's)
Full information of what I am looking for.
I am stuck on tracing my Dennehy roots and have exhausted all of the
obvious records for my G GF's birthplace in Co Cork.
His birth place is family lore so it could also be in Kerry or Limerick but
just on the border - who really knows for sure but Co. Cork is the most
likely the location and I am concentrating on that.
Recent Breakthrough
I recently found out where my GF was baptized so I though, maybe just
maybe, it would have his Dad's place of birth as well.
Well, no such luck BUT I did find out that my GF's sponsors from his birth
were Abby CAHILL and Michael ROCHE.
He was baptized at St, Johns Evangelist east 53rd St., New York, New York
in 1895.
(the 3 other siblings and deaths were not recoded in this church - darn)
Abby CAHILL would probably have been either Michael's wife and most likely
a first cousin or aunt to my GGF Thomas Dennehy.
Michael ROCHE could also have been related to Ellen JONES but I have yet to
come across that name and I have well fleshed out that JONES tree.
((((Does the Catholic church always use the maiden name of female
sponsors?)))
My GF, Jeremiah DENNEHY, parents were Thomas DENNEHY and Ellen JONES
Thomas's parents were Jeremiah DENNIHY (not a typo) and Elizabeth CAHILL
My problem is that i have no townsname for my DENNEHYs who, from family
lore, cam from Co. Cork
both my gf's parents died before he was 10 yrs old and no family history
was passed on so i am exhausting all records to find the town's name
i have found as many records (death, citizenship, civil marriage, church
marriage etc) for his dad Thomas but none state the town's name (only
IRE)
with these 2 names i am trying to cull all the clues and work backwards
into where my DENNEHYs are from
I believe Abby to be my GGF's 1st cousin
If i can find her marriage in NYC maybe i can find the CAHILLs in Cork as
well
I am kind of zeroing in on Boherbue, Cork, Ireland based on some other
records I found on CAHILL and ROCHE in LDS.
Even more history below to further pinpoint this family.
1 - Are your DENNEHY, CAHILL, ROCHE surnames from this area or anywhere in
Co Cork?
2 - Any family intermarries that might help me?
3 - Any other general advice?

He is buried in The Holy Cross Cemetery, Tilden Ave in Brooklyn NY and is
in the: Section St. James, Range W, Plot 202
The family was living at 100 East 53 St. at the time.
He was buried on Dec 12, 1898 and the undertaker (the name is
unintelligible on the D.C.) was living at 509 Madison avenue.
What town from County Cork, Ireland was he from? This is the puzzling
question.
This we do not know and may cause us to never find a living Dennehy
relative or descendant form Jeremiah Dennihy and Elizabeth Cahill.
Summary of my notes on him so far
*******************************************************************
The following note speaks of my Great Great & Great grandparents
On Jan 19/1890 at St. Peter's Church, Jersey City, NJ, USA
Thomas DENNEHY (born circa. 1855 - based on marriage cert. or born circa.
1865 - based on death certificate)
son of Jeremiah DENNIHY(DENNEHY)& Elizabeth CAHILL (marriage circa.
1825-1845 - a guestimate).
(names based on the parish register & father's named confirmed by Thomas's
death certificate
mother was stated just as Hannah Dennehy on the death cert)
My guess is that the birth year of 1855 is more accurate as it filled out
when he was alive and would be more substantial than the death certificate.
The mother's name of Elizabeth Cahill would also prove this out in my
opinion. Having a full Name (w/ surname) is better than what was provided
on his death certificate. Is it possible that his mother died and Hannah
was a step mother at that point but that is just a guess.
Thomas marries Ellen JONES (born circa. Nov 1865 of ???, Co. Kerry)
daughter of John JONES & Margaret ENRIGHT from Ballylongford, Co. Kerry
Ireland. (mar circa. 1825-1845)
According to his death certificate he would have came to America in 1884 at
the age of 30-31 (20-21 if DC age is correct - i doubt it - the 30-31 is
more likely in my opinion).
They then moved into NYC and he was a "Coachman" (a driver) but died in
Dec. of 1898. (my grandfather was 4 years old)
They had 4 children.
John J, Mary Margaret, Thomas, Jeremiah Thomas (my gf)
John J and Thomas both die before the age of 10.
According to the NYC directories of the time, they lived in the
east 50's of NYC from 1891-1898 until he dies.
A William McGUIRE "Livery" of 154 East 56th St witnessed his Naturalization
on 10/22/1891
Thomas DENNEHY was living at 224 East 59th St at that time.
Ellen JONES DENNEHY remarries a Daniel McAVEY and lived near 116 St in NYC
She eventually dies in 1908. He was a laborer.
They had one child Daniel Jr who dies at about 1 years old.
