Nancy C. was the daughter of Mitchell G. Den(n)ard and Clarissa Smith. She was actually born abt 1852. She married John William Olgesby on Feb. 10, 1870 and they had at least two children. Tildon Hendrix Oglesby was born in 1877 and Holcomb Bascomb Oglesby was born in 1882.

Mitchell G. was the youngest son of John Jr. Dennard and (not sure of wife...some say Phoebe Colbert...Phoebe maybe, Colbert no). Mitchell G. was born in 1814. He had at least two other brothers (more than likely three)and they were: Wiley T. b. 1811 and Isaac b. abt 1801 (married Edna Harris Jan 3, 1821). This Isaac is not to be confused with Isaac b. 1776 or Isaac Jr. b. abt. 1812. This Isaac was born, owned land, married, sold land, lived next door to John Jr. and did so in Elbert County.. Falling Creek area.

Mitchell G. was married three times and had a total of 11 children.
