Hi Lissa, thanks for the info on Emanuel...I do think that it is the same person as I believe the two of them were travellers and both ended up in Saskatchewan Canada with land grants. Though according to my mother they were very friendly to each other once landing in Canada. I would still like to try and figure out what happened to Vilhem's mother Cathrine Rasmussen. I think that Vilhelm may have been raised by the Nielsen's who I believe were related somehow.
