I'm looking for the city of departure, ship and arrival of my family.
Here is the info I have,
Niels Mickelson born April 12, 1851 in Jordrup Parish, Ribe County. He emigrated to the US on Nov. 11, 1873. He may have traveled with Pathrena Anderson Dahl . They were married in 1874. The last location I have for him is Anst Parish in1856.
Carl Mikkelson, born August 12, 1847 in Jordrup Parish, Ribe County. He emigrated to the US in April, 1876. Could have been from Vamdrup Denmark. Carl was married to Ellen Kirstine Hansen. She was born May 14, 1853 in Vamdrup. Ellen and Carl were married in Vamdrup on March 15, 1874. When they left Denmark they had two sons, Michael born May 9, 1874 and Hans born Jan. 31, 1876. Both in Vandrup.
Niels and Carl both went to Montague, Muskegon Co. Michigan, where they became farmers.
Michael and Ane Mikkelsen (Niels and Carl's parents) had five other children. I do not know what happened to them.
Johan Conrad Mikkelsen born Sept. 25, 1843 Starup Parish Vejle County.
Jens Mikkelsen born May 26, 1845 in Starup, Veile County. He is on the 1850 census of Jordrup Parish, Anst Dist Ribe County but not on the leaving list in 1856.
Catherine Mikkelson born August 11, 1849 in Jordrup Parish, Ribe County.
Jensine Karoline Mikkelsen born May 12, 1854 in Jordrup Parish, Ribe County.
Jens Mikkelsen Born November 23, 1856 Anst Parish.
Some of Ellen Kirstine Hansen's also came the the US.
Her parents Hans Ebbersen born July 1820 in Vamdrup and wife Carrie or Karen Johnson born between 1826-1829. They came to the US in 1890.
Son John was born in Januanry 1863 and came to the US in 1885. Ole Hansen was born in 1873 and came to the US before 1890.
