Hi Anthony,

Not much to translate.

The family was living in the town of Haslev, Ringsted district, SorÝ county. Don't pay attention to the place name Hasle, it's a misspelling of Haslev. You could try to find some of the births of the children on this site with free church records and censuses: http://www.arkivalieronline.dk. For instructions use this: http://www.utilis.dk.

Other cenuses (but not all yet) you will find here: http://www.ddd.dda.dk.

Going by ship "indirekte" means that the went from Copenhagen to another port in Europe (most likely in England - but could also be Hamburg in Germany).

A good site for finding place names is: http://www.krabsen.dk.

Lissa
