Sorry, I just re-read this post as obviously didn't read it thoroughly before.
This is obviously my great-grandfather as his middle name was Faster (his mother's maiden name). So, if he arrived in New York, would they have gotten off there or stayed on the boat down to New Orleans?
Would they have gone through Ellis Island and be in those records? I had always skipped that since I thought he went straight to New Orleans.
And where did you see his name on a ship manifest? Did you just look up the Saint Paul boat for that date?
Also, my Aunt and I were talking how wouldn't it have been strange for an unmarried couple (Aage and Anna) to be traveling together in the early 1900s?
