Hi Brenda,
Since John was alive in 1900 in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio and Mary died in Mecca, Trumbull County, Ohio in 1911, and the Ohio deaths for 1908-1932 are online, I would do a search of the Trumbull birth records from 1900-1907 for John's death.
The death certificates for Trumbull County 1894-1908 are available on microfilm from any Morman Family History Center. I believe the cost is $5.25 to use it for 30 days. It is FHL US/CAN Film 904252.
