Need help with geography of Denmark

I have many relatives from Denmark, and I need help determining whether places are towns, counties, etc. One relative is from Rurup, Branderup, Haderslev. Another is from Gram, Fros, Haderslev, Denmark. Another is from Rurup, Branderup Sagn, Toftlund, South Jutland, Denmark. So is Rurup a small town? What exactly is a Parish in relation to American towns and cities? What is Branderup? Is Haderslev a county? What does "Sagn" mean? Is Toftlund a county or a town? What about South Jutland?

It is difficult to put it all together when you have no idea what each place represents. I would be so appreciative if someone could help.
