Well we are making progress, or rather you are. :) So Hans Hansen was only a Hansen because his fathers name was Hans? Making him a Hans "son" Hansen? So confusing they way they did the names. I really appreciate the effort your putting into this on my behalf. I will keep looking too and I hope you don't mind my asking if you could as well. I was told that Hans Hansen named gave his son the middle name Kristian or Krystane because that was the kings name or something like that. Maybe he worked as a laborer on the kings land or something? Just a shot in the dark really..a weak hope.
