I find 1 Samuel Hansen on FamilySearch (www.familysearch.org) on the International Genealogical Index (IGI) and Vital Records Index (VRI) for Denmark:

Samuel Hansen
b. 30 Nov 1848
chr. 12 Dec 1848 Holtug, Pręstų, Denmark
father: Hans Nielsen
mother: Ane Samuelsdatter

Maybe he can be traced forward to see if he leaves Denmark around the time of your ancestor, or maybe a marriage record to Catrina (probably spelled Katrine in Danish) can be found?
