Bjarne - This sound very much like it could be our Samuel. I was aware that Samuel was not a usual Danish name but that is all I have on him for aname. Would the name Hamann translate into Hansen, or how would it become Hansen. Would there be a marriage listed for him to Catrina (Unknown last name) around 1869-1870? That would probably be the only way to tell for certain. Thank you for finding this for me. Carroll
