More information.

I know that Peter made at least one, possibly more, return trips to Denmark. I have a copy of his certificate of identification for a round trip passage to Gothenburg on the Kungsholm. The Kungsholm traveled that route during the 1930s and last couple of years of the 1920s.

His obituary lists Assen Denmark as his place of origin. I cannot find such a place (could it be Assens?). If it is Assens, that might be a place to which his family moved and he lived prior to emigrating. I speculate about that because I wonder if Peder Christian Pedersen of Toftlund and family moved to Assens.
