Are you sure on his birth year? I ask because I notice in another message you say that Clyde was in SA at some point (and that Clyde's wife was born in Brompton, SA), and on Recordsearch there is a Peter Christian Petersen who became a citizen in 1909.

In his application, he said that he arrived from England in 1880, on the Old Kensington, into Melbourne, lived in Melbourne 2 years, Sydney six years, and South Australia 20 years. He had three children, two girls and a boy.

He was resident at Coglin Street, Brompton Park, SA, and was a storekeeper.

He goes on to say that he was 52, and he was born on the 10th April 1857, at Copenhagen, resident a total of 28 years in Australia.
