I don't find Hester in my data-base. If you'll give me more information, her date and place of birth, I will see what I can find out. My great-grandmother, Susan Ann Denley Crowell, would have been approximately the age of Hester, given ten years one way or another. She and her family were in the Hamilton County census for 1880. I know relatives of several different surnames came to Texas (from Mississippi) at about the same time, 1871, following the Civil War.
