I am 36 years old and I have been searching for my real father for a long time. His supposed name was Roger Glen Denison. He was apparently fron Johnson City, Tn or some where in that area of Tn.
You may be able to help maybe not. I have almost given up on the fact of ever finding him.
I live in Dalton,Ga. My mother was Lois Pack fron Ranger ,Ga. Growing up I was the only Denison in this area. I have always wondered about my real dad. I was always very atheltic and even played college football and semi pro in the army in Germany. I wondered if my atheletics came from him. The story goes my mom meet my real dad in Los Angeles ,Calif. My aunt Helen lived there in West Covina the San Bernadino area. My moms cousins came out from Ga to live and visit. Their last name was Starkey. My real dad and Mr. Starkey became very good friends. They were not finding work there in Calif so they all moved to Orlando,Fla where my real dad worked for RC Cola as a delivery driver. They all lived on Orange Blossom Circle in a trailor. My mom became pregnant with me and apparently told my dad. He told my mom he had a family in Tennessee and needed to get back to them. That's the last time my mom saw my real dad. She went back to Calif and gave birth to me on Jan 1st,1965. My uncles told me that my real dad spoke of the 34 parallel in the army. I'm thinking Korea. I spoke to a Roger Denison in Bristol,Va once and he stated that when he was in Germany his military number got mixed up with another Roger Denison's and his military number was 1 number diffrent from his. That number is 138111121. My junior year in college my mother came to me and told me she had something for me. It was a letter from my real grandparents who apparently lived in Michigan. She gave it to me and started crying. She stated that she did not want me to read it ,that it would hurt her so I tore it up. That october 31st my mother passed away with cancer at the age of 48. That really left me with a feeling that i would never know who my real dad was. She kept it very secret within the family meaning her brothers & sisters. Noone knows nothing or is telling me anything. If you can help then great. If not then I thank you for your time.
Thank You
Mark Denison
