Has anyone made any connection between their Denham line and the Melungeon people of Northeast TN., Southeastern KY.,
Southwest Virginia. I have traced my linage back to David Denham who lived in Hancock County, TN., on Mulberry Creek between 1811 and 1850 when he died. He was born in Virginia in 1754. He claimed to be descended from a Portuguese Denham.
