The following is from Berwickshire News 7 June 1910. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Denham married June 1 1860 attained their Golden Wedding. Mr. Denhame is the sone of the late Mr. James Denham, Reston. Mrs. denham is the eldest daughter of the late Mr. Robert Weatherston, Norham. Mr. R Denham was a bootmaker in Ayton and Greenock. He retired about 1891 to Norham and then to Swinton. Their family consists of one son and 2 daughtersdaughters and 9 grandchildren. Their son James went to Canada about 20 years ago (1890), bought a farm in the vicinity of Warkworth, Ontario and eventually married. Robert and Elizabeths eldest daughter Isabella married A. M. MacDougall, commission agent Paisley.
I'm intersted in info re Robert and Elizabeth Denham, their son James and daughter Isabella.
My Denham/holm connection is through Robert b 1797 d 1883 married to Hay France; Robert b1822 married to Mary Black and Adam b1863 married to Catherine Dunn. These peopel are all from the Ayton area in Scotland
