The immigrant ancestor to south Carolina was William Denham/Dunham/Donnom who settled in Willtown South Carolina. The family was connected to The Dorchester Society which settled Dorchester South Carolina in 1695 and later moved to Georgia and established Midway and Sunbury.
I have not been able to find the name of William's wife, who he married before comng to South Carolina, or where he lived before moving south believe that is was either New England or the Carribean. Here is what I have collected so far on William's Descendants.
