What we have at this time is: James Denham born? married Abigail Mason 1738. Abigail born 1716. They had children, Margaret A., John, James Jr., William, and Obadiah "Obed". (Obadiah is the one you are tracing). Obadiah was born 1747 in VA. married Mary Ball 8 July 1781 in Providence, NJ. They had children, John, Timothy, Charity, Elizabeth, Rachel, Sarah, James (maybe this is the James H. you are tracing), William, and Obadiah Jr. James was born around 1788? in KY? Obadiah Denham and Mary (Ball) Denham moved to and founded Denhamtown (now called Bethel), OH. They settled there, we think, in 1797. We showed James marrying a Sarah, but did not know her last name and did not know James's middle initial. We also had no record of their children. Any of your info would be greatly appreciated. We, my daughter Sharon and I, went to KY on March 15th and stayed a week collecting info in the courthouses and libraries. We had fun, fun, fun! We are still trying to feed all the info into our computer, so we might have more for you later.
