Tammy,
I apologize for being so long in responding. In answer to one of your questions, both my father (Clarence Edward DENHAM) and uncle (Charles Everett DENHAM) have told me that King Soloman DENHAM married Ada Leech/Leach in Texas, and moved to Oklahoma because she was a half-breed Indian and they weren't welcome in Texas. From the research I've done, I can't find any indication Ada was part American Indian. Instead, it appears her family line goes back three generations to Culpepper County, Virginia and all the names appear to be pretty much of English origin.
Their daughter was Viola PEAY who was a school teacher in Ada, Oklahoma and when she divorced her husband (PEAY), she kept her married surname and never remarried. My great aunt Vi lived with her mother in the home built by King Soloman on two small lots of land in Ada. I remember visiting them when I was a child; Ada went by "Ma Denham". I think Aunt Vi had a child who died very young, but I need to go back and review all my files again.
Hope some of this helps or is at least interesting.

Kevin
