Sallie E. Bean was Sarah Elizabeth Bean born 19 Dec 1848 the dau of Pleasant Davis Bean and Elizabeth Farquar. Her grandparents James Bean and Sallie Littell who came from TN. to Harrison Co., IN. in 1808 and 1817. She married George W. Denbo who was born 21 Dec. 1848 son of Robert Denbo and Mary Caroline Duley. His grandparents were Joseph Denbo and Cynthia Booker. Cynthia died in July 1863 of exhaustion in helping the men fighting Gen. John Hunt Morgan in the Battle of Corydon. George and Sallie had ten children: Lovie, Anna, Zetta, Cora, Robert, Frank, Carrie, Ida, Ira and Robert Ray Denbo. There were 4 George Denbos in Corydon at the same time so it gets confusing. I descend from John David Denbo and Harriet Elmyra Bean. I have more details on the 10 children and families if interested.
