Can anyone tell me about Betty or Elizabeth DENBO who was married to Anthony BADGLEY (1760-1837)? They lived in Illinois (probably St. Clair CO) in the early 1800's. Anthony traveled to Illinois from Hardy CO VA (now WVA) in 1797 with his brother David, a Baptist minister, and 152 others. My question is whether Betty was already married to him and migrated with the group or whether they married in Illinois (Anthony was 37 at the time of the migration). Their known children were 1) Hiram, m Rhoda Hand; 2) Simon, m Louisa Reed; 3) Butler, m Elizabeth Smirls; 4) Dema, m1? m2 Solomon Teter; 5) Nancy, m Joseph Beer; 6) Elizabeth, m Thomas Beer.
