Hello! I am seeking information on four Dempsey sisters born in IN in the mid 1800s. They moved to Philadelphia sometime before 1900. Kate and Lou Henry eventually settled in Gloucester Co., NJ.
The only other info I have is:
1. Ida Francena Dempsey - never married
2. Katherine m. George Harris > son Joel (a Methodist minister prob. ret. from NJ Conference)
3. Elizabeth - family oral tradition says she perished on the Titanic. She is not on manifest as Dempsey. Had she married?
4. Lou Henry (1865?-1921) m. Charles Fletcher Skinner (my gg-gparents)
My grandmother has no idea where in IN they were born or who their parents were. If anyone has stumbled across any of these names in their research or family tree I'd be ecstatically happy to know of it!! This is a family mystery I'd love to solve.
