I have just recently learned that Martin Dempsey arrived in America on 6-5-1838 through the Port of New York on the vessel Vestula at the age of 18 by way of Liverpool, England. Have identified Marti's death date of 12-28-1907 in Ogdensburg, NY. His second son, Mick/Michael Dempsey married Eliza Michel in St. Mary's Cathedral, Ogdensburg, NY and they had at least two children.

Still seeking information on his other children: Thomas, Francis, Margaret/Maggie, and Cathrine.
