My husband, Robert Jeffrey Dempsey, was born in Columbus, GA in 1950. His father was Robert Marion 4/2/27-4/23/79. His grandfather was William Marion, 03/15/1904-2/22/75, born in Anniston, AL, married Annie Norene Hood. His great-grandfather was Jesse Dempsey, married Lura Shaddix. Have you come across these people in your search? I'm just trying to get started. Any suggestions?? Thanks!
