My mother was Jessie Lee Dempsey, b. Apr.6, 1916, d. Apr. 23, 1996, m. Ulysses S. Parris.
Her father was Richard Albert Dempsey, b. June 1874, d. Aug. 17, 1957, m. Inus Lue Emma Breedwell (daughter of Charles Jess Breedwell, b. Aug. 9, 1855, d. Mar. 14, 1936, m. Mary J. Campbell). His father was W. Alvin Dempsey, b. June 6, 1849, d. June 28, 1933, m. Colorado T. Beason, b. Dec. 24, 1857, d. May 9, 1915. The Beason (Beeson) genealogy has been traced back to Capt. Edward Beeson who came to America from England with William Penn, but I'd like to find out about the Dempsey family. My mother died of Alzheimer's Disease and I'd also like to know if any of her ancestors might have had it.
