I also feel John was a son to William Dempsey of Botetourt Co Va. Susannahs son William who had a child named Wesley lived with Absalom Dempsey for a while in Botetourt Co as some records show he was a nephew to Absalom. Trying to find the proof for the connection has been very difficult. Any ideas out there?
