I have a Francis Marion Dempsey one of several children of James M. Dempsey & Caroline Scoggins. Caroline's first name
could have been Susannah. They we married
in Macon Co, NC in 1839. They later lived
in several north GA Counties. James M Dempsey and his son Seth Dempsey served in the Civil War. Seth either died or was killed in that war.
Can you help me locate this family?
